postdoctoral fellow and research associate

Postdoctoral fellow and research associate position available immediately in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, for candidates with strong publication records and experience in developmental biology, stem cell biology, reproductive biology, autophagy, and birth defects, especially in murine cardiogenesis and neural tube development. Our research focuses on the genetic and epigenetic mechanisms of maternal diabetes-induced birth defects. Applicants must have a Ph.D. with expertise at least in one of the following fields: embryonic development, cardiac development and disease, neural tube development, molecular biology, and epigenetics. Additional requirements for applicants are experience in autophagy, non-coding RNA, cellular organelle stress, or senescence.
