Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor of Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry at Columbia University invites applications for a position at the
rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor (tenure-track or tenured) or full Professor with a
start date of July 1, 2023. All areas of Chemistry will be considered and candidates from all sub-
disciplines are encouraged to apply. Successful candidates for this position must have
demonstrated ability and continued potential to perform innovative and pioneering research,
teach effectively at the undergraduate and graduate levels, participate in service to the
department, university, and field, and engage in activities that promote our goals and values,

Salary Range:
$120-130K Assistant Professor
$150-190K Associate Professor
$190-$330K Professor
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including
but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty,
and training. The above hiring range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable
estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
