Job Details
The Zhang Laboratory in the Department of Thoracic/Head and Neck Medical Oncology, Department of Genomic Medicine, MD Anderson Cancer Center, seeks to fill multiple postdoctoral positions. We closely work with a multidisciplinary team, including medical oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, computational biologists, pathologists, etc., to obtain and analyze clinicopathological, molecular, and radiomics data to understand the molecular mechanisms underlying the development and progression of lung cancers with a focus on tumor heterogeneity in both cancer cells and microenvironment and their impact on cancer biology and patient outcomes such as survival and treatment response.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Postdoctoral fellows will benefit from training in analyzing cancer genomic data, immune profiling data, radiomics, histomics data, etc. Fellows will have educational opportunities, including writing manuscripts/grants and extensive opportunities to gain presentation skills at weekly lab meetings, monthly departmental joint lab meetings, and annual conferences (e.g., Keystone, Gordon, Cold Spring Harbor, AACR).
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must have a recent (within three years) Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree with strong research abilities and interests.
