The Agricultural Research Service, Beltsville Agricultural Research Center, Invasive Insect Biocontrol and Behavior Laboratory in Beltsville, Maryland, is seeking a POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH ASSOCIATE, (Research Molecular Biologist) for a TWO YEAR APPOINTMENT. Ph.D. is required. Salary is commensurate with experience ($78,592-$102,166 per annum) plus benefits. US Citizenship required. The incumbent will assess baculovirus replication and gene expression in cells and larvae of Helicoverpa zea, in order to evaluate the impact of co-infection with an alphabaculovirus and a betabaculovirus. Knowledge of virological and tissue culture methods are desirable.
