Summary

The postdoctoral associate will lead their own research project that is relevant to the lab's interest in maternal-fetal communication, pancreatic cancer, and/or early neural development. Projects will incorporate mouse models, embryonic stem cells, organoids, next-gen sequencing, bioinformatics, and microscopy.

Job Duties

  • Performs in vivo and in vitro experiments.
  • Maintains mouse colonies and/or cell lines.
  • Conducts genotyping on mouse colonies and/or cell lines.
  • Collects murine tissues (including embryos) and performs murine surgery.
  • Processes collected murine tissues and/or cells.
  • Uses confocal microscope and next-gen sequencers.
  • Uses flow cytometry.


Minimum Qualifications

  • MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
  • No experience required.
