Established in 1991, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) is a globally recognized University and contributes both locally and internationally to talent development, new knowledge generation and societal interests.  The University was founded on the principle that education, original scholarship, and the development of society are integrally linked and best pursued together.  It has the objective of becoming a world leading University with significant international impact and strong local commitment. In relentless pursuit of excellence, it leads the advance of and education in science, technology, business, humanities and social science.
