YOUR ROLE
  • Contribute to shape Adhesive Technologies' strategy for sustainability by further integrating sustainability into our business strategy through data driven measurement concepts with special focus on sustainability measurement, data analysis and modeling, based on Life Cycle Assessment
  • Contribute to build a holistic concept for sustainability transparency on product and portfolio level along the value chain and as part of integrated business steering
  • Support the design of business intelligence tools for the collection of key data points and KPIs
  • Drive our portfolio transformation by advancing the methodological framework to assess our portfolio's contribution to sustainability in the light of market needs, total impact assessment and future regulation, e.g. EU Taxonomy
  • Provide expertise on sustainability related topics like CO2 emission accounting, mapping of related saving levers in our value chains, understanding of alternative feedstocks
  • Represent Henkel externally at association or industry initiatives, at customers, as well as in internal bodies to improve our sustainability expertise, performance, and reputation

YOUR SKILLS
  • Master's degree in environmental science, chemistry, engineering, computer science or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience
  • Experienced in data analysis and/or modeling of the value chain (cradle-to-grave)
  • Understanding of life cycle assessments and reporting standards (e.g. Greenhouse Gas Protocol)
  • Knowledge of LCA concepts such as GaBi, OpenLCA or Brightway is an advantage
  • Experienced in working with large, linked spreadsheets, data tools and systems and understanding of databases would be an advantage
  • Excellent stakeholder management, presentation, and communication skills
  • Proven track record in managing complex projects in multi-stakeholder environments, ideally with a strong focus on sustainability related projects
