The Mellins Lab is seeking a postdoctoral fellow with experience in yeast display-based protein engineering to be applied in projects addressing events leading to autoimmunity. The Mellins lab is located within the Department of Pediatrics at the Stanford University School of Medicine. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to apply methodologies recently developed by our group to use yeast display for studies of autoimmunity. Additionally, the selected candidate will have many opportunities to take advantage of the vibrant scientific community of Stanford University and surrounding area. We are seeking an independent, self-motivated and enthusiastic candidate with a recent PhD in a relevant field (immunology, molecular biology or related). Advanced training in immunology is highly preferred but not required.  To apply, please send a CV and a brief statement on why you would be a good candidate for this position to Dr. Claudia Macaubas at macaubas@stanford.edu. Three (3) letters of reference will be requested from selected candidates after a virtual interview.
