Assistant Professor Evolutionary Ecology

The Department of Biology at Texas State University (www.bio.txstate.edu) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position specializing in Evolutionary Ecology. The successful candidate will be expected to teach both graduate and undergraduate courses in the field of evolutionary ecology and to develop an externally funded research program involving graduate students that complements the strengths of our 50+ member faculty. Required qualifications are an earned Ph.D. in the biological sciences or related field with a research emphasis and record of peer-reviewed publications in the field of evolutionary ecology. Preferred qualifications include postdoctoral experience, a record of grant funding to support research, and a track record of integrative research that will foster collaborations with existing and future faculty members at Texas State University.
