Summary
The Center for Cell and Gene Therapy is seeking a post-doctoral associate with interests in studying adoptive cell therapies to target solid tumors. Specifically the candidate will work on targeting lung tumors and the associated stroma through novel glycan patterns with chimeric antigen receptor T cells. The candidate is expected to plan, direct, and conduct specialized and advanced research experiments, to evaluate and analyze data, and to summarize research findings for publication. The laboratory provides a rich training environment and collaborative philosophy.

Job Duties
- Plans, directs and conducts specialized and advanced research experiments.
- Evaluates and analyzes data.
- Summarizes research findings and publishes results in research journals.
- Contributes to training of other lab members, when appropriate.
- Independently applies their previous training to new projects.
- Takes responsibility for learning new techniques needed for their research.
- Uses an electronic lab notebook to keep an up-to-date record of their work.
- Regularly presents their work in lab meetings.
- Completes animal work.
- Contributes to other lab members work.
- Helps to maintain cleanliness and general maintenance of the lab.
Minimum Qualifications
- MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
- No experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to communicate well, including oral and written communication.
- Good people skills.
