Position Summary

A Staff Scientist opportunity is immediately available for the highly motivated individual in the laboratory of Dr. Wong, at the Beckman Research Institute of City of Hope, a prestigious NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. The Staff Scientist series is designed for career research professionals whose primary function is to support the research infrastructure and activities of the institution. Staff Scientists will bring special skills, knowledge,and experience to research programs or institutional core laboratories

The candidate will directly work on animal and cell based word related to plastic surgery, lymphatic biology, wound healing and related topics.

Skills that are used in the lab include: Animal microsurgery, cell culture, molecular biology

Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:
  • The Staff Scientist must possess a MD or PhD
  • Prior lab experience will be an asset

The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate's experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
