Job Description Summary:
The Department of Microbiology, Molecular Genetics and Immunology invites applications for a tenure track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in Immunology. Applicants are expected to have a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent degree, including postdoctoral training, with an immunology focus. The successful candidate will be expected to establish and maintain an extramurally funded research program, and to participate in graduate and medical education. The primary criteria for selection will be the quality of research and scholarship. The potential for synergy with members of the Department and the KUMC research community will be advantageous.

Required Qualifications:
- Education: Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent degree, including postdoctoral training, with an immunology focus
Job Duties Outlined:
- Establish or continue an externally funded, independent research program
- Actively participate in graduate and medical education
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Required Documents:
- Letter of Interest Directed to the Faculty Search Committee
- Curriculum Vitae
- Two-page description of research plans
- Contact information for at least three references
- PDF reprints of no more than three recent publications that underpin future research
