Post-doctoral research fellow positions (or visiting scientist positions) are available to investigate the role of extracellular vesicles, long-non coding RNA, and membranous proteins in the pathogenesis of sepsis and lung inflammation. Applicants must have extensive knowledge and experience in molecular biology and biochemistry, have various lab techniques, and be familiar with animal (mouse) work and cell culture (including primary cells). Applicants should have or anticipate having a Ph.D. in a related field with relevant experience. Candidates will be expected to take the lead role in his/her projects, publish manuscripts as the first author, and present his/her projects and data at lab meetings, as well as international meetings. A high level of self-motivation and participation in a collaborative team is required. Preference will be given to those with a strong publication record.  Experience in mouse lung work is a plus but not a must-have. We will help the post-doc fellows to develop their own career paths during the period of post-doc training. The position will remain open until filled. Please send a CV and the names of three referees to: yjin1@bu.edu
