Postdoctoral fellow

We are seeking two highly motivated and goal-oriented postdoctoral researchers to join our team at the National Institute on Aging, National Institutes of Health. Our research focuses on CD8 T cell response to virus, cancerous cells, and autoantigens, using single cell omics (transcriptome and epigenome) to study CD8 T cell differentiation and age-related alterations of CD8 T cell function. Specifically, we will study the transcriptome and TCR repertoire changes during CD8 T cell response viral antigens (such as SARS-CoV-2, IAV, CMV and others), as well as the role of CD8 T cells in the brain of an Alzheimer's disease model. Our research utilizes both human samples and mouse models, with the goal of better understanding adaptive immunity and its applications in medicine. We encourage applicants with relevant experience in fields such as immunology, microbiology, genetics, cell biology, molecular biology, and bioengineering to apply. A PhD or MD/PhD with substantial research experience is required, and prior experience with molecular biology, immunology, and work with human and mouse models is preferred.
