ROLE SUMMARY:

Pfizer's Global Hematology portfolio is a leader in Leukemia with inlineproducts in AML, CML, and ALL including core brands Bosulif, Besponsa, Mylotarg and Daurismo. Pfizer's hematology portfolio has expanded to include our B-Cell Maturation antigen (BCMA) targeted bi-specific antibody, Elranatamab for the treatment of multiple myeloma.

The Global Medical Elranatamab Team Lead role provides a unique opportunity to join Pfizer's hematology team as we consolidate this new therapeutic area and bring Elranatamab to patients.

Pfizer Hematology is preparing for Global Launch in Multiple Myeloma in Triple Class Refractory with subsequent launches in earlier lines to follow.

Given a highly competitive space, s uccess will rely on Establishing Pfizer leadership in multiple myeloma.

The Global Medical Elranatamab Team Lead will report to the Global Medical VP of Hematology and Biosimilars and will serve as a single point of accountability for internal and external key stakeholders.

The Global Medical Elranatamab Team Lead will have both direct and matrix leadership: Coordinate a team of 5 directs and medical leadership/ launch readiness across a Global cross functional team. Key areas of responsibility include overseeing global medical Elranatamab launch plan,LCM, Evidence Strategy and Therapy Management Program to better address patient needs.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Coordinate the team to better design and implement the medical launch plan as well as customer specific strategies and campaigns to educate, activate and support early trial and adoption
  • Develop detailed, strategic medical roadmaps and plans to ensure launch readiness and appropriate planning assessments
  • Flawlessly lead execution of GLocal strategies, ensuring appropriate resource allocation to execute medical plans;
  • Matrix leadership as a member of the Global Medicine Team, working with GPD, Commercial, PHI, Regulatory, Policy.
  • Frequent monitoring of competitive intelligence to translating insights to action when appropriate
  • Collaborates with a variety of internal and external partners and stakeholders, such as clinical investigators, clinicians, scientists and key opinion leaders (KOLs), as well as multidisciplinary internal groups
  • Create environment that stimulates customer interest and engagement with various key Global MM experts
  • Using GLocal model, ensure alignment between the Global medical and local markets, coordinating the work of the global medical Elranatamab liaisons
  • Elevate Customer and Patient Experience with a particular focus on Health Equity to lessen current disparities of care in MM
  • Accountable to ensure correct medical/scientific Glocal data interpretation and dissemination

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
  • 5 + years' experience in Medical Affairs roles required
  • 3+ years in Global Medical roles required
  • MD plus accredited fellowship in Hematology-Oncology, board certified or board eligible
  • Documented strong clinical and disease knowledge in Multiple Myeloma
  • Experience in compliant execution of pre-launch medical programs, launch planning and execution.
  • Experience leading financial valuations, forecasting, investment proposals and/or other related projects.
  • Experience with novel MOAs/development of new class of therapy preferred
  • Confident and Concise communication and presentation skills, including to internal and external senior leaders.
  • Strong strategic skills including creativity and effectiveness in identifying and managing major strategic challenges; can manage through ambiguity.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and navigate within a complex organizational matrix achieving results through others across functions, geographies and a variety of personality styles.
  • Ability and eagerness to challenge status quo, think creatively, act decisively and operate successfully in an empowered organization
  • Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English required

For roles based in New York City: The annual base salary for this position ranges from $236,900.00 to $394,800.00. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 25.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan, paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
