The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences in the Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences invites applications for a 12-month tenure-track position at any academic level. Applicants are expected to have earned a PhD, MD/PhD, PharmD/PhD or equivalent degree in pharmaceutical sciences, medicinal chemistry, chemistry, or a related discipline. Preference will be afforded to scientists with a record of high impact research in medicinal chemistry or chemical biology. Applicants that focus on drug design and discovery in the areas of metabolic disease, neurosciences, infectious disease, or oncology are especially desired, although other research areas will be considered. The finalists are expected to have or develop a vigorous externally funded research program and provide valued teaching in the PhD and PharmD programs.
