Aging Biology Faculty Positions
The University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester NY is currently seeking early and mid-career, tenure-track faculty for two faculty positions in the following areas: Biology of Aging and Biology of Aging & Cancer. The biology of aging is an area of expanding interest and strategic priority at the University and at the Wilmot Cancer Center. Scientists studying aging and aging in relation to cancer in epigenetics, genome stability, cell metabolism, stem cell biology, RNA biology, genomics and systems biology would be well suited for this position.
Candidates should hold a PhD and/or MD degree and have a demonstrated track record of research accomplishment in an area relevant to aging biology. New faculty will benefit from vibrant graduate/professional training programs and state of the art infrastructure and core facilities, as well as a strong Institutional commitment to career development. Appointments will be made at the Assistant Professor level although outstanding candidates at other levels will be considered, with commensurate expectations of research and funding accomplishment. Departmental affiliation will be determined according to best fit. Academic rank and salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
