What You Will Achieve

We are seeking a Technical Expert in the Analytical Research and Development GA group as a laboratory-based Stability Sample Management Specialist in Groton, CT.

The Technical Expert will administer receipt, aliquoting, distribution, and handling of GMP samples and reference standards in support of multi-product and multisite testing laboratories as a key resource. The colleague must be able to interact effectively with peers and leaders as part of a multi-disciplinary team and thrive in a fast-paced environment. The individual should also be proficient with a variety of software and information systems. Attention to detail, accuracy, strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and effective interpersonal, communication and documentation skills are required.

How You Will Achieve It

  • Job responsibilities may include the initiation through approval routing for simple to complex stability protocols within LIMS.
  • Coordination of receipt and set up of stability studies.
  • Manage workload with autonomy and prioritizes stability workflow as needed.
  • Design and reporting of photostability studies and handle related equipment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Stability Administration (SME) and verifies stability related activities performed by 2nd colleague within group.
  • Direct interaction with project team members, verbal and written.
  • Design, interpretation and reporting of photo exposure studies in accordance with ICH guidance (Q1B).
  • Seek guidance where needed to resolve stability protocol/specification challenges and create novel LIMS stability protocols to meet the need of complex stability protocol designs.
  • Contributes to technical documents such as stability protocols and photostability reports.


  • H.S. diploma or equivalent with 6 years of experience
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills, including the ability to maintain an accurate scientific notebook.
  • Familiarity with modern analytical tools and techniques.

  • Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or Technical Degree
  • Some experience in a laboratory setting.
  • Proficiency using various computer applications including, but not limited to: LIMS, GDMS
  • Direct experience as a trainer
