Qualified postdoctoral candidates are invited to join our laboratory, at the Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine, Department of Translational Medicine and Physiology, Washington State University.

Research focus in our lab is understanding biological mechanisms of circadian physiology and behaviors; molecular and cellular impact of circadian disruptions on tumor heterogeneity, tumor microenvironment, and metastatic progression; and translational applications of circadian physiology for the treatment of cancer and aging-related pathologies using nutritional, metabolic, pharmacological interventions. Our disease emphasis is cancer and related neurodegenerative diseases and our model systems are cellular and animal.

Candidates with a doctoral degree (Ph.D., M.D or equivalent) and strong background in molecular & cellular biology, pharmacology, biochemistry immunology, oncology, neuroscience, or medicine are encouraged to apply. Experience in the field of molecular and cellular biology, cancer, aging, bioinformatics, or epigenetics is preferred. Experience and/or interest in circadian clock and sleep research is highly desirable.
