Postdoctoral Position in Cardiovascular Research, Virginia Tech, Fralin Biomedical Research Institute, Johnstone lab.

Our research centers on translational studies in human blood vessel disease. We aim to understand the inflammation and cell signaling mechanisms associated with vascular disease. Our lab uses in vitro and in vivo approaches to define and develop novel therapeutics, peptides and nanobodies, and tests these on patient blood vessels received in collaboration with clinicians at Carilion Hospital. Our goal is to define new markers in vascular disease and design therapeutics with translational potential.
