The Department of Biological Sciences seeks to recruit a full-time, lecturer with expertise in Microbiology and Genetics to instruct in the Pre-Allied Health undergraduate program beginning in the fall of 2023. The successful applicant should have a Ph.D. or M.S. degree (Ph.D. preferred) and experience in college-level teaching, including laboratory courses. The candidate should have experience with current methods for encouraging student engagement and assessing learning. In addition to training undergraduates seeking bachelor’s degrees in Biological Science, we have an active program training students for programs in allied health professions (nursing, pharmacy, physical therapy, dental hygiene, physician’s assistant, or occupational therapy) to which the incumbent would be expected to contribute.
