Laboratory of Parasitic Diseases, Division of Intramural Research
The T lymphocyte Biology Section (laboratory of Daniel L. Barber, PhD) in the Laboratory of Parasitic Diseases of NIAID in Bethesda MD is looking for post-doctoral fellow candidates. Our lab works on T cell responses to Mycobacterium tuberculosis and SARS-CoV-2 infection, two major global causes of death due to infectious disease. We use both murine and non-human primate animal models to study tuberculosis and COVID-19 in our state-of-the-art, highly equipped BSL3 laboratories. Candidates expert in T cell immunology are preferred, and no prior experience with high containment work is required to be considered.
