The Department of Pharmacology and Physiology at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position to be filled at the assistant/associate/or full professor level. The potential to develop cross-disciplinary collaborations within and outside the department is essential. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary commensurate with experience and a competitive start-up package.

Basic QualificationsApplicants must hold a PhD and/or MD or equivalent in an appropriate discipline with a demonstrable track record of research productivity as evidenced by publications and funding potential.

Application process: To be considered, please complete an online faculty application at http://www.gwu.jobs/postings/97686 and upload a current CV, cover letter, a statement of past, current, and future research accomplishments (3-page limit), and a statement of contributions to diversity (1-page limit) in which you describe ways in which you have fostered diversity and inclusion and your plans to participate in or lead initiatives to enhance diversity, inclusiveness and/or equity in SMHS and society. You will also be asked to provide the names and contact information of at least 3 references. Review of applications will begin on December 8, 2022, and continue until the position is filled.
