A Postdoctoral Fellow position is available immediately to work in the areas of growth control and cancer biology at University of California, Irvine. Our lab studies the roles of tumor suppressors and oncogenes in regulating tissue homeostasis as well as their dysregulations involved in tumor initiation and progression. Our current focus is the Hippo pathway, a key signaling pathway known for its critical roles in organ size control and cancer.

We use multi-disciplinary approaches including molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, mouse genetics, large-scale proteomics, to study the Hippo pathway in normal physiology, stress response, and cancer. We are now seeking a highly motivated and career-oriented candidate with excellent research training in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology or cancer biology. We prefer candidates who are about to graduate with PhD or MD/PhD degree or have graduated within the last 12 months. A track record of excellent first author publication(s) is required. The salary and benefit will follow the NIH standard.
