The Biology Department at Northern Michigan University is seeking applications for two Assistant Professor positions, to begin August 2023.  These are campus-based positions.  Northern Michigan University, with 6,970 students and 194 degree programs, is located along the shore of Lake Superior in the vibrant, historic city of Marquette, consistently named a top spot in the nation to raise a family, vacation, and enjoy an excellent quality of life. Both tenure-track Assistant Professor positions require a Ph.D. in physiology, anatomy or closely related subject. ABD in one of these areas may be accepted if the degree will be completed prior to the start date for the position. The assignment will include teaching courses in human anatomy and physiology, animal physiology, introductory biology, and courses in the applicant’s specialty.
