The Department of Energy Office of Science is looking to fill the Site Office Manager position at the Argonne Site Office (ASO). The Site Office Manager is a critical leadership position for the Site Office and directly supports the Deputy Director for Field Operations in the oversight of the Laboratory. 

The Office of Science is accountable for the effective stewardship and management of ten world class laboratories and employs a performance-based management and operating contract model to achieve these objectives. Each Office of Science Site Office oversees the operation of their respective laboratory.

ASO oversees and manages the Management and Operating (M&O) contract for Argonne National Laboratory (ANL). ANL is a multi-program laboratory with a primary mission on delivering breakthrough science and technology in the areas of Basic Energy Sciences, Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Energy, and Computational Sciences. Argonne also performs work for the National Nuclear Security Administration and a host of other federal agencies. ASO is responsible for program implementation, acquisition management, and laboratory stewardship at Argonne.

Through the oversight role, ASO is affecting the safe and efficient operation of ANL, while enabling the pursuit of visionary research and development in support of DOE's missions.
