Job Description:

The Biology Department at Farmingdale State College invites applications for a non-tenure track Biotechnology Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs (QARA) Lecturer/Coordinator. Responsibilities will include teaching QARA-related undergraduate courses; developing a master's program and/or graduate certificate(s) in QARA, including relevant curriculum and course syllabi; determining appropriate licensure opportunities to be included as part of program; assessing QARA courses as needed; reviewing and updating QARA course curricula/contents/syllabi/policies; serving on departmental and/or college-wide committees.

Requirements:

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Terminal academic or professional degree in a field relating to Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs.
• Experience in a pharmaceutical/cosmeceutical/nutraceutical setting working in position(s) related to quality assurance and/or regulation required.
• A successful candidate will also possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as strong organizational and administrative abilities.

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience teaching courses at the undergraduate or graduate level.
• Managerial/supervisory experience.
• Undergraduate and/or graduate course development and assessment experience.

Additional Information:

This is a 10-month UUP faculty position.
