Postdoctoral Fellow – Leukemia
Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center, University of Maryland, Baltimore, MD, United States
A position is immediately available for an ambitious and motivated postdoctoral fellow with interest and experience in laboratory research in cancer, with a preference for interest and experience in leukemia research. The position is in the laboratory of Dr. Maria Baer at the Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center, University of Maryland, Baltimore, for ongoing laboratory research on signaling and drug resistance in acute myeloid leukemia. A major focus of the laboratory is signaling pathways in acute myeloid leukemia with fms-like tyrosine kinase 3 internal tandem duplication (FLT3-ITD) and targeting of signaling pathways. The work employs multi-disciplinary approaches including biochemistry, molecular biology and flow cytometry to study cell line models, primary leukemia cells and in vivo models. Candidates with a Ph.D. degree and interest and experience in laboratory research in leukemia are eligible to apply. The postdoctoral fellow will have the opportunity to work in a diverse, inclusive and well-mentored environment in an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Please e-mail an application including a cover letter describing research experience and interests, CV, names and contact information of three references and expected start date to:
