What You Will Achieve

The position requires an analyst participation in biofunctional, ligand-binding, and molecular assay activities, including but not limited to assay development and clinical testing. The position also requires documentation of new methods and writing summary reports to related work activities. As an integral member of our dynamic team, the incumbent must have a strong work ethic and be highly collaborative with other group members. In addition, the incumbent should understand robotic methods used in assay development and prior experience of working in cross-functional teams. All the above activities include practicing laboratory safety at all times and adherence to Good Clinical Laboratory Practice (GCLP) compliance.

How You Will Achieve It
  • Perform all aspects of bio-functional and ligand-binding assay development, and analysis of non-clinical and clinical samples
  • Conduct clinical assays in accordance with GCLP requirements
  • Present progress on assay development and sample analysis to colleagues and senior management
  • Perform assays to support critical assay reagent testing
  • Collect, collate and analyze data to support troubleshooting, as needed
  • Maintain a detailed inventory of critical assay reagents and assist in ordering supplies, as needed
  • Assist in updating and writing SOPs associated with assays, in addition to technical reports, where applicable
  • Satisfactorily completes all GLP and safety training in conformance with departmental requirements.


  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years relevant experience, or a Master's degree is required
  • Laboratory experience in biology, immunology and/or microbiology
  • Good verbal and written communication skills are required

  • Knowledge of Luminex technology, MSD, robotics, mammalian cells and aseptic techniques
  • ELISA development
  • Proficiency in the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and relevant scientific software

  • Lifting, sitting, standing, walking, bending, ability to perform mathematical calculations and ability to perform complex data analysis.
