The Department of Chemistry at NC State University seeks to fill a tenure-track faculty position in the area of Computational/Theoretical Chemistry. Our priority is to fill a position at the Assistant Professor rank, although exceptional candidates at other ranks will be considered for Associate or Full Professor positions.

Successful candidates are expected to establish a nationally and internationally recognized research program and to demonstrate strong interests and abilities in teaching and mentoring at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Candidates are also expected to provide service to the Department, University, and wider professional community as a committee member, referee, advisor, officer, or representative.

Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in Chemistry or a related scientific field. Candidates should apply to jobs.ncsu.edu under position number 00109665.
