Faculty Position in Computational Genomics: We are seeking candidates who creatively develop and apply computational approaches to drive biological discoveries and innovations using large-scale data and innovative technologies. Candidates are expected to establish a productive, extramurally funded research program and contribute to undergraduate teaching and graduate training. Doctoral degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate, with a demonstrated record of achievement in research. Postdoctoral training in the field of specialization is preferred. The Department:  The Department of Biological Science is a diverse and interactive group with more than 40 tenure-track faculty members with expertise in developmental genetics, epigenetics, genomics, chromosome biology, neuroscience, ecology, evolution, conservation biology, structural biology, and virology. The Department supports faculty success through engaged mentoring. Researchers have access to excellent and fully staffed departmental and university core facilities supporting genomics, computational research, cryo-EM, confocal and light sheet microscopy, flow cytometry, and mass spectrometry. The department also maintains BSL2 and BSL3 labs, greenhouses, field sites, and vivaria.
