POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWS – DRUG DISCOVERY

The Center for Therapeutic Innovation at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine seeks postdoctoral fellows in the field of drug discovery and related cutting-edge basic science. The ideal applicant will have a unique skill set and a deep molecular understanding of human disease related biological systems and associated drug and biomarker discovery. Priority areas are neuroscience (esp. Alzheimer's disease and addiction), cancer and rare genetic disorders. 

Applicants, possessing a Ph.D. and/or M.D., should have a strong background in contemporary biology and/or medicine. Molecular biology, genomics, pharmacology, bioinformatics, disease physiology, drug screening, target identification, and animal disease modeling are among the desired skill sets. Experience from pharma/biotech is also an asset, as is the ability to work independently and to lead teams of researchers.
