The Institute of Cancer Research at the Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research, Northwell Health

The Institute of Cancer Research at the Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research (FIMR) at Northwell Health, the Northwell Health Cancer Institute, and the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Cancer Center are seeking innovative scientists or physician-scientists to address fundamental problems of importance in human cancer immunology and/or immunotherapy, for faculty positions at the Assistant, Associate, or full Professor level.

Qualified candidates will have demonstrated impactful publications in the field and possess a substantive portfolio of extramural grant funding that is transferable. Physician-scientists would also have the opportunity to practice their respective area of oncology through the Northwell Health Cancer Institute, the largest provider of cancer care in the state of New York.

The FIMR is the home of research at Northwell Health, offering a unique and exciting research environment with basic and applied programs in Behavioral Science, Bioelectronic Medicine, Cancer Research, Health System Science, and Molecular Medicine. Interested candidates should visit www.feinstein.northwell.edu to learn more about our mission.

Moreover, exceptionally qualified candidates may qualify for an adjunct faculty appointment at the nearby Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (CSHL), with membership in the CSHL Cancer Center, an NCI-designated Basic Laboratory Cancer Center. Northwell Health and CSHL partner through a formal affiliation agreement, and ideal candidates will benefit through appointments and the respective research strengths and facilities at both institutions.

Qualified candidates must have a PhD and/or MD degrees, postdoctoral research experience, and dedication to important problems at the interface of science and medicine, as they relate to cancer immunology and/or immunotherapy.

Qualified candidates may submit a cover letter and CV to Dr. Jeff Boyd, Director, Institute of Cancer Research/FIMR at jboyd5@northwell.edu.
