We have a postdoctoral fellow position available in the Systems Biology & Drug Discovery lab led by Dr. Sriram Chandrasekaran at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Our lab develops drug-discovery software tools using machine-learning and systems biology.  

Our lab's research has been published in Cell, Genome Biology, eLife, mBio, and PNAS. The PI has a great track record of funding from NIH and was also named as MIT Technology Review’s Top Innovators Under 35. For more information on our research and publications see https://systemsbiologylab.org/

The  postdoctoral fellow will lead projects in building systems biology models to find drug regimens for treating tuberculosis and other antibiotic resistant infections. 

Required Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in systems biology, bioinformatics, computational biology, bioengineering or related field 

  • Experience with omics data analysis, specifically transcriptomics, proteomics, chemogenomics, and metabolomics dataK

  • Knowledge of machine learning algorithms or knowledge of systems biology approaches (network inference and genome-scale modeling) 

  • Proficient with R, Python or MATLAB

Background Screening:
