Education required : BS or MS degree in Biochemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, Biopharmaceuticals, or related field of study. Graduation by Spring/ Summer 2023

Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in English

Other requirements:

Willingness to be geographically (domestically) mobile throughout rotations

Must be eligible to work in the US at the time of, and for the duration of employment. Employees will be required to furnish evidence of US work authorization. Applicant must NOT require future sponsorship for an employment visa status

The aim of this program is to develop future engineering, operational and technical leaders in GSK

Are you a capable engineering graduate ready to utilize your skills and knowledge (coupled with the latest technology and processes) to help us deliver billions of packs of medicines to our patients every year? O ur Future Leaders graduate program will challenge and support you to grow professionally and personally. You will have three challenging rotations in business-critical roles where you will have the opportunity to meet senior leaders and network with other graduates . You will also improve your technical skills while gaining valuable leadership expertise.

What will you do?

You will get an insightful experience into the manufacturing side of our pharmaceutical manufacturing business . You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Take biopharmaceutical products from R&D to full-scale commercial manufacturing
  • Project manage the introduction of new processing equipment and manufacturing technologies


  • Investigate and solve technical problems using machine learning / data analysis
  • Purify protein therapeutics through centrifugation, chromatography and filtration
  • Improve the robustness of our biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes by developing mechanistic understanding of problems and implementing innovative solutions
  • Investigate & lead technical problem-solving using data analysis : Gembas , & techniques such as 5 Whys, Fishbone Analysis, & Root Cause Analysis.
