The Biology Program at Bard College is seeking two tenure-track colleagues to join a team of teacher-scholars committed to excellence in teaching and research. The successful applicants will ask cutting-edge questions in neurobiology, physiology, immunology, or developmental biology and will be prepared to teach courses on topics including genetics, development, neurobiology, physiology, anatomy, immunology, or biostatistics, as well as their area of expertise. Successful applicants will also mentor undergraduate students conducting independent research. Research facilities include state of the art microscopic imaging, qPCR, and support for invertebrate or aquatic organisms.


Applicants should possess a Ph.D. in a biological field. Prior teaching experience is highly desirable. Candidates at the assistant, associate and full rank will be considered.
