Description: NIH-funded postdoctoral position is available to investigate innate immune training in the bone marrow as a mechanistic basis for the association of periodontitis with inflammatory comorbidities. The laboratory is located in the Department of Basic and Translational Sciences, Penn Dental Medicine, University of Pennsylvania, with access to state-of-the-art core facilities and a collegial work environment.
Qualifications: Candidates with a recent PhD (0-2 years) in biomedical sciences, experience in immunology, flow cytometry and mouse models of disease, and a strong record of scientific accomplishments are encouraged to apply. Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential. Experience in models of periodontitis and comorbidities is helpful. Preferred candidates will have high-impact publications in the field of immunology and bioinformatic skills for omics analysis.
