We seek faculty candidates whose research has demonstrated excellence and impact on the intersection of tumor biology and physiology. While candidates across a broad range of areas will be considered, we especially seek and encourage candidates with a record of innovative and collaborative research in tumor microenvironment, metabolism, endocrinology, or immunology. Applicants studying all types of cancer will be considered, but neurological, gastrointestinal, or blood cancers researchers are strongly encouraged to apply.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. and/or M.D., significant current extramural funding, and a strong record of research excellence. The successful candidates will be expected to maintain an extramurally-funded research program and to participate in teaching at the graduate and professional health sciences levels. Competitive salary and start-up packages are available.  Highly distinguished scholars may be eligible for nomination to the University of Illinois System Distinguished Faculty Recruitment Program.
