Tenure-Track Professorship in Human Evolutionary Biology

The Department of Human Evolutionary Biology is conducting a search for a tenure-track professor in the area of human diversity. We welcome applications that focus on understanding the nature and origins of human variation in all its forms including genetic, anatomical, physiological, behavioral, and cultural. Candidate’s research should address human diversity and variation from an evolutionary perspective and can be approached using laboratory methodologies (including on model organisms), theoretical approaches, fieldwork, computational analyses, or other methodologies. The appointment is expected to begin at the level of Assistant Professor and to start on July 1, 2023. The appointee will teach and advise at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Basic Qualifications: Candidates are required to have a doctorate or terminal degree by the time the appointment begins.

Additional Qualifications: Demonstrated strong commitment to teaching and research is desired.
