The University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine is currently seeking outstanding applicants for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position within the Department of Craniofacial Biology at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.  Applications are encouraged from individuals with a research focus relevant to craniofacial and oral biology including, but not limited to cell and developmental biology, genomics, epigenomics, regeneration, systems biology and/or data science. An emphasis on using basic research to solve problems in craniofacial and oral biology is ideal. The successful candidate will join a collegial research-intensive department that is highly integrated into PhD graduate programs at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. The faculty member is expected to establish an extramurally-funded research program and participate in limited dental student and graduate student teaching. Academic appointment, compensation, and start-up package will be competitive and commensurate with experience and scientific accomplishments. Candidates hired to the rank of Associate Professor are expected to have an established, federally funded research program.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. and successful postdoctoral training with a record of research excellence and strong potential for obtaining competitive federal grants to support their research. A track record of peer-reviewed publications is required and evidence of potential for teaching and mentorship is encouraged.
