Faculty Positions in Biological and Chemical Engineering

Dartmouth Engineering seeks to fill multiple open-rank, tenure-line faculty positions at the intersection of a thriving multidisciplinary nexus of Biological and Chemical Engineering. These positions will promote collaborative science within the broader Dartmouth community, including the Thayer School of Engineering, Dartmouth Health, Geisel School of Medicine, Dartmouth Cancer Center, Chemistry, and Computer Science.

Successful applicants will have a doctorate in engineering or a related quantitative science field and a demonstrated potential to lead an externally-funded research program targeting transformational advances that enable societal benefit. Research areas of interest include but are not limited to biomanufacturing (e.g., use of non-model microbial hosts, biofuels) and broadly enabling methodologies (e.g., omics platforms, computational protein design). Candidates will be gifted teachers well-prepared to teach courses in Biological and Chemical Engineering with motivation and expertise that complements Thayer's interdisciplinary approach to engineering education.
