Our motto, “Understanding our World • Healing our World”, captures a distinct perspective with which our department approaches teaching, research and service. Biology faculty have active Federal and non-Federal grants that fund significant research projects. Aquatic researchers collaborate with the Center for Reservoir and Aquatic Systems Research (CRASR), a research and education partnership between Baylor University and the City of Waco that focuses on aquatic resources.
