The Department of Genetics at Harvard Medical School invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position. We are seeking outstanding applicants, with a demonstrated potential for imaginative research and a clear vision for the future, who are working on exciting problems in any area of genetics, broadly defined.

Department of Genetics consists of faculty working on diverse problems using a variety of approaches and model organisms, unified in their focus on the genome as an organizing principle for understanding biological phenomena. Our successful candidate will become a member of the training faculty in the umbrella Biological and Biomedical Sciences (BBS) program, the largest of Harvard University’s biology Ph.D. Programs, and will typically participate in additional topic-specific Ph.D. programs within the Harvard Integrated Life Sciences (HILS) system.
