A postdoctoral Research Scientist position is available to study lung stem cells, regeneration, and related lung diseases. Projects include interactions between micro-environmental niche and epithelial progenitor/stem cells, intrinsic signaling in lung stem cells, cell fate determination during lung inflammation, injury and repair. Experience with mouse disease models, mouse surgery, tissue culture, histology, fluorescent cell sorting, confocal and fluorescence microscopy, RNA sequencing, stem cell biology, immunity and inflammatory signaling is desirable. Candidates should have at least 3-year experience in the relevant field, a record of high productivity, be able to independently design and carry out experiments. Based on experience, title can be Instructor or Research Assistant Professor. Salary will be competitive and related to experience.
