The Hospital Field Medical, PAXLOVID Outcomes & Analytics, Team Leader is responsible for managing and developing a team of Hospital Field Medical, PAXLOVID Outcomes & Analytics colleagues.

Hospital Field Medical, PAXLOVID Outcomes & Analytics, Team Leader Role Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate ability to perform all Hospital Field Medical, PAXLOVID Outcomes & Analytics responsibilities to lead, manage, develop, and coach a team of Hospital Field Medical, PAXLOVID Outcomes & Analytics colleagues
  • Guide work prioritization and resource allocation within team, and authorize expenditures for team related to travel, training, supplies, and other miscellaneous expenses
  • Ensure appropriate Hospital Field Medical, PAXLOVID Outcomes & Analytics colleague deployment and account prioritization based on current BU focus
  • Conduct HR-related issues for assigned team (such as performance appraisals, salary planning, new colleague selection, colleague development plans, colleague retention, team culture, and conflict resolution) and manage concerns in a timely and compliant manner Ensure team activities are conducted and documented in compliance with all policies, guidelines, and regulations, and that team members complete all assigned trainings within the specified timeframe
  • Collaborate with Medical Governance team as appropriate
  • Partner with administrative professional staff to ensure effective support is provided to the Hospital Field Medical, PAXLOVID Outcomes & Analytics team
  • Serve in leadership roles on internal workstreams and committees with national responsibility where high-level, strategic decisions are made and executed
  • Integrate customer insights into national tool, resource, and program development with cross-functional, cross-business unit committees
  • Proactively and compliantly collaborate with HQ Medical Affairs, other Field Medical, and commercial colleagues as appropriate to shape and implement customer-centric medical strategies that support regional and national brand operating plans and goals
  • Maintain exceptional market and customer knowledge in an increasingly complex and dynamic marketplace
  • Participate with Hospital Field Medical, PAXLOVID Outcomes & Analytics colleagues in or lead complex customer collaborations, bringing relevant advice and resources as needed to ensure project success while conveying customer insights to internal stakeholders to advance strategy and operating plans
  • Partner with HQ Medical Affairs colleagues to ensure PAXLOVID Outcomes & Analytics colleagues receive role-specific training, resources, and development in order to effectively work with customers
  • Ensure direct reports compliantly provide objective and scientifically sound Medical information regarding Pfizer's portfolio and disease states through the use of pharmacoeconomic models, outcomes tools, and data analytics
  • When assigned, exhibit accountability and decision making with alliance partners that impacts the entire organization
  • Effectively and consistently communicate PAXLOVID Outcomes & Analytics colleague value to internal and external stakeholders
  • Anticipate and lead team to effectively adopt new digital technology, on-demand, and other related offerings that improve the efficiency of Hospital Field Medical, PAXLOVID Outcomes & Analytics Medical communications and activities and that enhance the overall Medical customer experience
  • Lead the Hospital PAXLOVID O&A organization in skill development to build advanced knowledge in Digital Health Informatics and evolve and empower Pfizer medical affairs to work in new and innovative ways to advance population health and align with the quality improvement goals of Pfizer Hospital Medical
  • Recognized Medical Affairs subject matter expert in Electronic Health Record (EHR) clinical data extraction, data analysis and management, as well as HIT/clinical informatics resources evaluation and development processes.
  • Provides leadership and strategic direction for Clinical Informatics, Digital Health and HIT initiatives and projects, including skill-development training and mentorship of Hosptial PAXLOVID O&A colleagues to build knowledge in CI/HIT- includes leading the CI/Digital Heath HTAC
  • Has accountability for oversight and management of data platforms and digital devices including ePRO platforms, digital apps and devices and working with Digital and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with all Pfizer policies.


Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop, and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
  • Bachelor's degree in a health science required
  • PharmD, PhD, or equivalent terminal doctoral degree highly preferred
  • Relevant experience required: 15 or more years with bachelor's degree; 13 or more years with master's degree; 8 or more years with PhD terminal degree
  • Hospital experience preferred
  • Demonstrate leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, develop, and lead a team in a complex, changing environment that is focused on generating a positive Medical customer experience while embodying the Pfizer Core Values

Preferred Qualifications
  • PAXLOVID experience
  • Familiarity with internal/external SOPs/Rules/Regulations regarding Pfizer/customer interactions and relationships, etc.
  • Previous Field Medical experience
