Go BeyoND: Postdoc Preview Weekend
The Postdoc Preview Weekend is a three-day program that provides senior graduate students the opportunity to visit the University of Notre Dame to learn about our postdoctoral training opportunities, meet with our faculty and explore our scientific resources and facilities. This year's preview will be held Friday October 28 through Sunday October 30, 2022.
Who we are: Researchers in the College of Science at the University of Notre Dame are advancing knowledge, solving real-world problems through collaboration and innovation, and developing the next generation of scientific leaders. In six science departments and numerous interdisciplinary centers and institutes across seven colleges and schools, Notre Dame researchers are identifying promising ways to fight illnesses, including rare and neglected diseases; participating in international discoveries, such as the Higgs boson; learning more about stellar nuclear processes and exoplanets; addressing the challenges of big data; and advancing research in a host of other areas.
What we provide: The University of Notre Dame will cover the cost of travel, lodging and meals for all selected applicants. Eligible applicants must be current graduate students at US institutions who anticipate beginning a postdoctoral position in the 2023 calendar year. The application period is open through 11:59pm ET on October 5, 2022.
How to apply: Please upload your 1) Curriculum vitae, 2) a one-page (maximum) statement that briefly describes your research background, your area of interest for your postdoctoral training, and why you are interested in Notre Dame, 3) one reference letter from either your thesis advisor or a member of your thesis committee. You will be asked to complete a short survey to indicate interest in specific Faculty. See our website: https://science.nd.edu/postdoc/go-beyond-postdoc-preview/ or Apply through Interfolio.
