Postdoctoral fellow positions are immediately available in the Semlow Laboratory at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech). Our lab is interested in exploring the molecular mechanisms of DNA replication and repair and understanding how deficits in these processes contribute to cancer as well as diseases of inflammation and ageing. We are interrogating the origin and repair of DNA damage using approaches spanning biochemistry, genetics, mass spectrometry, and structural biology. At Caltech, postdoctoral fellows will contribute to an outstanding and supportive intellectual environment and enjoy access to state-of-the-art facilities and resources.
We seek motivated individuals to join our highly collaborative research group. Candidates should have a strong background in the life sciences, chemistry, or a related discipline, a record of research productivity, and a desire to pursue important problems in the DNA repair field. Interested applicants are encouraged to send a CV with a summary of research interests to Dan Semlow, PhD (email@example.com).
We are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
