The Department of Biological Sciences at Lehigh University invites applications for a tenure track position at the level of Assistant Professor in the area of Cell Biology, broadly defined. We seek outstanding applicants studying fundamental processes related to cellular biology, for a position beginning in the Fall, 2023. Research programs in any suitable model system are welcome.   Eligible applicants must hold a Ph.D. at the time of employment and have at least one year of postdoctoral research experience.

Within a multidisciplinary, collaborative research environment in the department and across the university, the successful candidate is expected to develop an internationally recognized, extramurally funded research program, participate in the department’s Ph.D. program in biology, and contribute to the department’s excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching. We expect that the successful candidate will have a research program that complements the current research in the department.
