How You Will Achieve It

  • I nteract effectively with peers and leaders as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • A ppropriately generate, record, archive, and report all data
  • Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to present results through written reports, publications, and related documentation
  • Summarize , critically evaluate the study results, develop and test new hypotheses, execute experiments, and author technical reports
  • Planning and execution of experiments to develop cell lines, or develop and optimize manufacturing processes for biopharmaceuticals
  • Develop and characterize cell lines able to support clinical/commercial manufacturing
  • Develop robust, efficient, scalable strategies for improving upstream and/or downstream process performance
  • Apply enzyme biochemistry principles to develop and adapt innovative technologies.



  • BS degree in a biological or engineering discipline ( Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry/Biochemistry, Chemical/Biochemical Engineering, Pharmacy, or equivalent).
  • 0-3 years laboratory experience in a relevant field
  • Experience with laboratory research required, preferably in cell biology, recombinant protein/biomolecule purification, process development, and/or cell culture process development.
  • A good understanding of cell biology, cell culture process, protein chemistry, protein analytics, or bioprocess technology is required.


  • Demonstrated scientific documentation skills
  • S trong foundation in general scientific practice, its principles , and concepts
  • Ability to quickly learn new software
  • Working knowledge of biology, biochemical engineering, or biochemistry and related analytical chemistries
