YOUR ROLE
  • Be part of a cross-functional use case team to enable data-driven business models that require IoT components
  • Act as the spearhead for the development of the IoT vision and technical strategy (work with key business and IT leaders to develop an IoT vision that sets objectives for the business to shoot for and to communicate that vision to key stakeholders)
  • Design an industrial end-to-end IoT architecture (identify and document the IoT target state for the organization and ensure that the target architecture will address current and future business requirements)
  • Select and steer external implementation partners to realize architecture incl. IoT
  • Ensure scalability and synergies between IoT use cases and make recommendations for overall IoT strategy for data-driven business building (incl. pot. buildup of architectural components/platform inhouse)
  • Create processes to build IoT solutions through standardization
  • Ensure smooth interface to data and analytics platform and overall enterprise architecture of Henkel
  • Provide overall guidance and sparring for use case teams around several IoT points
  • Work in close collaboration in cross-functional teams using agile methods to deliver high quality IoT solutions
  • Assess and harmonize IoT applications, hardware, edge devices and IoT data within the IoT eco-system (together with IoT specialist/engineer)

YOUR SKILLS
  • Master's degree in information technology, computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, (chemical) engineering or science generally
  • 8+ years' experience with IT, industrial IoT, Manufacturing 4.0, industrial IoT architecture, applied IoT solutions for new business models (data-driven business models)
  • Latest developments and standards in Industry 4.0 and industrial IoT IoT architecture archetypes, esp. to realize data-driven business models (incl. data security, etc.)
  • Strong data architecture and IT knowledge
  • End-to-end understanding for cross-company process-controlling data flows
  • Knowledge in communication technologies, e.g., 5G, LoRaWAN and protocols, e.g. MQTT, LWM2M Strong project management leadership
  • Fluent English language skills
  • Strong leadership experience in an enterprise or cross-functional role
  • Strong interpersonal communication and persuasion skills
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, uncertainty and risk in a project environment and ability to achieve excellent results in dynamic and multicultural settings
